Delete your JustSay account

You can permanently delete your JustSay account at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what's kept, and how to do it.

The fastest way: delete from inside the app

1. Open the JustSay app on your phone.
2. Tap your account card on the home screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the card and tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE in the dialog to confirm and tap Delete forever.

The deletion runs immediately and you'll be signed out.

If you can't access the app

If you've uninstalled JustSay, lost your phone, or can't sign in, email us at support@clearlogicassist.com from the address on your JustSay account. We'll verify it's you and delete the account within 7 days. The same anonymisation rules below apply.

What gets deleted

• Your email, display name, and password hash
• Active sign-in sessions (you'll be signed out everywhere)
• Pending password reset tokens
• Subscription record on our side (this does not cancel a Google Play subscription — see below)

What's kept (and why)

The following is anonymised — your user ID is removed but the record itself is retained for our internal accounting:

• Transcription session metadata — start time, duration, language, character count. We use the aggregate to bill ourselves correctly for OpenAI Whisper usage. We do not keep the audio or the transcript text — those are discarded seconds after we send them back to your keyboard.
• Feedback you submitted — kept so we can act on bug reports, but with your user ID removed.

If you have an active Google Play subscription

Timing

• In-app deletion: immediate.
• Email request: processed within 7 days.
• Backups: our database backups roll over every 30 days; if a backup is restored within that window your record could briefly reappear, then be re-deleted on the next deletion sweep.
